Appearance
The Burmese Python is a large snake with a tan background which has large irregular lateral and dorsal blotches, These blotches vary in colour but are generally olive/brown.
Locality
Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia and their surrounding islands.
Adult size
12-14ft is average, individuals have grown a lot larger so any keeper should be prepared for this.
Approx lifespan
12-20 years.
REcomended vivarium size
5x3x3ft should be considered the minimum for this large boid. Lager specimens will obviously require larger vivaria.
Basic set up type
Grassland/Dry Woodland.
Diet
Rodents for younger Burmese pythons, adults will need rabbits and possibly piglets.
