Appearance

The blotched kingsnakes pattern is highly variable. It can be banded, striped, blotched or even without pattern. The colour is typically black/brown, with lighter yellow/white markings (these are what make up the variable patterning).

Basic set up type

Woodland. Provide hides at both the warm and and the cool end, use bark chips or news paper as a substrate. If you use bark chips make sure you don't feed on the substrate.

The best diet for the Blotched Kingsnake is one that is made up of rodents.
